End Of Year Party 2025
After Friday Skins and advertising on national radio, the time finally came for the Wagglers End Of Year Christmas Extravaganza. No expense was spared with costumes, mood lighting, disco balls, and a top quality sound system all lined up for the big dance.
Bruce Carvell set the scene and welcomed us with his usual array of dodgy jokes and stories. Fairway Phil then backed up and gave us a run down of the year before we all tucked into some fine fare. For the record here's our menu.
Very good it was too. Between main courses and pudding we awarded our prizes for the year and announced our 2025 winner in the Race To Waitahuna. Mahmoud was crowned a very worthy winner and full results for the year are included on a separate page.
After desserts it was time to paaaaaaaarrrrrrttttttyyy. We only had 5 longest day golfers join us this year but we had more than a quorum for a good time.

The final challenge of the evening was to get EVERYONE up for the Brooklyn Shuffle. Good on Jamie for managing this task magnificently. Some had been practising and were better prepared then others - they had all the right moves. Others were content to watch and figure it out as they went along.

Thanks to everyone for a great night in particular all of the staff at the golf club and to Jamie for his disco experience. Good times had by all.
