Nothing Too Unusual Today ....

The computer which delivers the daily draw threw up an interesting combination today.  Scotsmen Duncan and Derek were drawn with locals Fairway Phil and Tony.  So they decided to play an international.

Here we see 2 genuine Scotsmen surrounding a ring in but who nevertheless looked the part.

For the record, the 2 Scotsmen took the locals to the cleaners and took out the haggle fair and square.

Not much else happened today although I will say if I had a dollar for every time someone has left a golf club on the side of a green I'd be a richer man.  We even had someone today who thought he had lost or left a wedge close to a green, who then drove all the way back to ask the group behind if they had picked up his prized wedge, who then realised the club was in his golf bag after all.  That happened didn't it Athol.....

It's Different Over Here ....

Today we played the beautiful Twin Waters Golf Club and there were kangaroos everywhere.  They sit in the middle of the fairway and sometimes you have to hit a ball over their head.  They don't respond if you shout " Fore ".  But not only is the fauna interesting but so is the flora.  Here we see John admiring a particular specimen.

Today we played a blind stableford meaning we only drew the teams AFTER the golf was finished.  It was a bit different and the scores show who cleaned up.

We can see that Team A and Team C shared the spoils scoring 121 points each.
